A chance meeting. An instant connection. Mitch and Mandy burn hot, but when the smoke clears, and things get real, can their feelings stay strong?
This story is a stand-alone with no cliffhanger.
Sometimes I just need to read a short, swoon-worthy story. And that’s what An Instant Connection is to me. Mandy and Mitch are a sweet and hot couple, who go through a whirlwind courtship. I love their story.
““Ever heard of personal space?” “Yes. But you smell good. Really good.””
Being a teacher is Mandy’s dream job, but until she has saved enough money to start teacher college, she’s stuck. Stuck with a just okay job and a nasty manager. Going a date with a stranger is not her thing, but there’s something about Mitch she can’t resist. Mitch is known for making fast decisions, but his reaction to Mandy even surprises him. Is their insta spark just a spark, or is it real love?
“I wanted him. And I wanted him to kiss me. Senseless. He smirked—wide, knowing, and confident.”
I love Mandy and Mitch together. Yes, they are going faaaaaast, but their connection feels real. Both are grownup people who know what they want, and what they don’t want. Our lovely couple hits a rough spot, and I love that Mandy doesn’t forgive Mitch right away. And the epilogue? Just too sweet, I love it.
“I finally felt right again. He was right. We were right. And I was tired of denying it.”
