Evie

I met him in a snow storm…

We spent forty-eight hours trapped in the back of his pickup truck.
We fought.
We touched.
We fell.
Hard.

Storm

She literally crashed into my life…

The last thing I wanted was a relationship. Especially with a quirky chick who drove me insane. But something about her got under my skin, and into my heart.
And I had to have her.
All of her.
Now.

Falling in love in the back of a truck, just the two of us, was easy.
Dealing with psycho fans, jealous exes, and demons from the past….not so easy.

While Loving Storm can be enjoyed as a STANDALONE, it is best read after reading Storm

Loving Storm is the follow-up of Storm, the first book in the ‘Ashes & Embers Series’ by Carian Cole. Evie and Storm are still happy and very much in love, but life as a celebrity and his sweet, shy fiancé isn’t always that easy. I love this sweet addition to Evie and Storm’s story.

“The moment she lay against me—her curvy body fitting so perfectly against mine, our hands linked together—I was hooked. Done. Captured.”

Like already said, Evie and Storm are happy and in love. Although they’re together for a while now, they don’t take each other for granted and are still amazed they’ve found the perfect love in a ditch on a snowy day. Their life in the spotlights is okay – as far as it can be ok with the gossip pages – but sometimes it’s still a bit much. Evie has made big steps when it comes to her shyness, but every now and then old insecurities rear their ugly heads.

“We’re a perfect figure eight, an unbreakable, twisty connection of friends and lovers. Do we need vows and a marriage certificate to solidify that? Hell no. But I want her to be my wife.”

I love to see Evie and Storm again. Of course, they’re in the other Ashes & Embers books, but I love to read more about them as a couple. Evie and Storm are a great couple, with lots of sweet, cute and sexy moments. Of course, they have their ups and downs, but who hasn’t those in a relationship? It all comes down to how you act and react to what happens in your life. And Storm and Evie have learned from their past. My only issue with Loving Storm? I want it to be much longer, I want to spend a little more time with this sweet couple.

“At least once a day I ask the universe how I got so lucky to have Storm in my life. Much like a storm, he blew into my life, created a bunch of unexpected turmoil, and then whisked me away from it all toward sunny skies.”

I adore Loving Storm, I give it 4.5 stars.
