They’re professionals. They know the boundaries. But some lines must be crossed.
A new city. A new opportunity to sow his wild oats and a guaranteed exit strategy already in place. What could possibly go wrong? Plenty, if you’re Dr. Logan Taylor and you’ve run into the sexy woman you bedded on your recent trip to Mexico. What happened in Mexico, didn’t stay there, and he’s A-Okay with that. A workplace romance is a no-no, but they’ve done casual before, so why not do it again?
Dr. Emma Adams doesn’t have time for games, especially when those games are played by men who are supposed to care about her. After yet another disastrous relationship, she’s ready to write off men altogether. That’s the plan, anyway, but as soon as she lays eyes on the new plastic surgeon, she knows she’s in for a whole world of trouble. When he offers her a no muss, no fuss no holds bar sexual relationship; she tells the plastic surgeon to go to hell. But then she reconsiders. Because after all, even a doctor can use a little TLC.
Having a hot one-nightstand, thinking you will never see each other again. How would you react when the guy shows up at the hospital you’re working? As the new plastic surgeon? S.O.S. tells the story of Emma, who has everything under control, until Logan shows up… I’ve enjoyed reading their story very much.
Emma is a busy woman. Her days are filled with her work at the hospital and her free hours she spends with family and friends. Her last relationship didn’t end very well, so she doesn’t have any desire for a new guy in her life. Escaping Logan however, seems to be impossible. Logan is a newly single guy, who had his own bad experience. He’s not looking for something permanent, but he can’t forget Emma. The couple has great chemistry, but giving into their feelings takes some time.
Emma and Logan are both adults who have loved before and know (kind of) what they want from life. They also know that a real relationship needs more than just great sex and sweet talks, it needs commitment. And that’s something they’re both a bit afraid of. Especially since Logan is only in town for three months… Emma and Logan are a great couple who both deserve happiness, but their love doesn’t come easy. Well, love comes easy, but the Happily Ever After takes some serious work.
S.O.S. is the third book in the ‘Doctor Drama Series’, and I have enjoyed reading it. It’s a sweet and sexy story about two doctors who can’t resist each other. I love how they are together, and how close they are with their family and friends. That was also the only thing that confused me a bit at times; there are so many friends and family members, I was mixing up their names. But overall, S.O.S. is a great read, with sweet, sexy and serious moments and an amazing couple.
